A Nelson Waldorf School benefit concert by acclaimed pianist Dharel Verville

On Sunday, March 7, Dharel Verville will perform at the Nelson United Church at 2:30 pm with proceeds going to the Nelson Waldorf School’s expanding Early Childhood Education (ECE) program.

“Awakening to Community” is the theme for this concert, wherein Dharel will present a glimpse into the relationship between science and art. Rudolf Steiner had requested his Anthroposophical movement to further articulate the interconnection between these two subjects. Dharel will demonstrate, through the evening’s musical selections from the works of Gurdjieff, Beethoven and other; principles that are historically common and foundational to vibrant and evolving communities.
