The Dances of Universal Peace are a moving meditation practice involving simple dance movements and music shared in a circle. A dance leader, supported by musicians, teaches participants a chant and movements. Soon, the circle is singing and moving together, deepening into the meditation. Teenagers are featured this week starting with Brooke and Brad Crowdis from Thrums performing contemporary music on guitar and vocals. Ana Seed with Carol Street from Nelson will follow with contemporary folk on guitar and vocals. Unravelers will close as Kevin Watt and Steven Lee from the Selkirk Music Program perform on piano, guitar and vocals.
