MooseHey, I’m Moose! I am neutered, male, adult gray tabby with a curious, playful, and friendly personality. I may be a big cat, but I am very docile and adorable. I am good with other cats and love affection. I also enjoy sitting in the window watching what’s going on outside. Call the Nelson SPCA at 250-352-7178 for more information if you would like to take me home!

What a Guy! Meet Tyke, a 3 ½ year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever
Tyke is a very sweet and happy boy. He has been started on retriever training and can retrieve ducks from the water and grouse on land. He is a bright guy that isn’t dominant at all… truly a lover not a fighter.Tyke has lived with another dog and a cat too. When he gets excited he chatter’s his teeth, which can seem scary if you aren’t familiar with this behaviour, but it’s nothing more than a nervous tick. He loves water and baths but does not like to have his nails done. He’s ready and raring to go. Call or stop by Second Chance Animal shelter weekdays to meet Tyke or any of the other wonderful dogs we currently have with us. Thinking of a cat? Boy, do we have cats – adults, seniors and kitties – and in a whole range of colours. If you aren’t ready to adopt consider providing foster care for an animal in need. Animals at Second Chance are owner surrendered, vet checked and just waiting to meet you.
