My name is Emily, and my partner Phil and I have recently taken up back country skiing. Both of us are confident skiers, and Phil has completed his AST 1.

We are looking for people who know Kootenay backcountry and would be willing to take us skiing with them so we can get to know the terrain. We are especially interested in exploring the Bonnington range. We have a 4wd vehicle, so we can provide transport if necessary. The two of us live in Blewett, just outside Nelson.

We have a used canopy from an early 1980s 2-wheel drive Toyota Truck. The canopy is in good shape except that the window on the opening flap is broken. We are located in Winlaw, send a message or call Noah at 250-226-7160 and then come pick it up.

If you get responses from your post on I Love Nelson, and the e-mail address seems foreign, or the response it not really clear or has very bad english grammer, DO NOT REPLY TO IT…in my case it was “egbami@rediffmail.com” that replied to an ad I had posted looking for an apartment rental. It ended up being a Nigerian company that uses e-mail addresses to send out spam to millions of users. The best bet is to have two e-mail addresses, use one for personal e-mail for friends and family, and another one for “public” use when using sites like this one or others….just some advice!
