We strive to promote and assist in the conservation of the fish and wildlife resources of the Province of British Columbia through the protection, acquisition or enhancement of fish and wildlife habitat, and;
To provide for such other purposes that in the determination of the directors contribute to the betterment of the fish and wildlife resources of the Province of British Columbia.

Beaks is the only wild bird rehabilitation centre in the Kootenays. Thanks to the dedication, hard work and support of donors, volunteers and staff, Beaks has been able to care for and release thousands of birds back into the wild.
