Twenty-Ten stands to be the beginning of a new era. With many dynamic planetary aspects and ‘ingresses’ (entry into new signs) over the course of the year, we will experience dramatic turns, initiatives and events. Every year is full of important events, but some weigh-in heavier. The new era includes a continued momentum of communication between people of all cultures. The social media trend is contributing to this most obviously and will grow. People are discovering that they can express and share their views and have the opportunity for others to listen. This is a feature of the Aquarian Age. This revolutionary trend is helping us recognize that nationalistic differences are not as significant as they used to be.  People are realizing that we can be more in-tune and in agreement with people on the other side of the planet than we may with people who literally live ‘next door’. The rate at which people are traveling and migrating is higher than it has ever been and this will continue.  In this Aquarian Age, humanity will continue to mix and blend until the entire planet is cosmopolitan – a global village. While many will embrace this, many will not. Most people in the world already have very mixed genetic roots, more than many probably realize or might like to admit. So, this is not a new trend, but it is accelerating. The good news is that the seeds of change will have strong spiritual overtones leading people to feel closer despite political, ethnic and religious differences. People with strong secular religious and political convictions will feel the most challenged to adapt to the emerging global village. This is the crunch and it will be felt strongly this year.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

A dynamic momentum is spurring you on as the year gets underway. Professional ambitions and maybe a few concerns are guiding your focus. You may therefore be in a more serious mood overall these days and it will likely continue. Gathering new tools and commitment to improving existing skills and talents will keep you busy now. Commit to creating a new balance of power and integrity.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)

Your sights are set on the future. Circumstances of late are causing you to commit to making needed changes – not likely your favourite thing. Yet you feel the push to commit to change. This includes closing old doors and opening new ones. Crossing the threshold with a new sense of commitment is important. Some form of training, education or apprenticeship is implied.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

Deep and perhaps challenging changes continue to sweep through your world. Saying goodbye is seldom easy, yet you may have to. Yet, the urge for a new sense of freedom is strong. The entire experience may be bitter sweet. Acceptance and surrender to what you actually feel is important for the sake of your own peace of mind.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

Pressures and complications on relationship fronts are leading you to the negotiation table. Professional relations are highlighted. Coming to an easy resolution is unlikely. You want to give to the situation but you are not willing to be taken for granted. A feeling of truce is in the air. Deciphering what you want and need and then seeking to know the same from others is necessary for resolution.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)

Making your dreams your reality is guiding your focus and actions now. This is a good time to review your plans and strategy. Getting organized and taking a constructively critical approach is important. Your willingness to learn new skills and increase your technical knowledge is ideal. Increasing your sense of confidence and security requires disciplined focus.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)

A growing urge to experience a wider range of creative expressions is on the rise. Versatility and variety of skills is an important aspect of your destiny. Patiently and deliberately building your confidence is required. This includes expanding your horizons as well as your offerings. Exercise your leadership by venturing into new territory.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Finding your way means deciphering your best direction. Establishing a solid home base may be your first priority. However, you may be experiencing instability there. It is important that you commit to strengthening your position, even if things feel shaky. Renovations are a possible measure. Self care and nurture may be that much more important, however. Fortify your position and constitution.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Asserting new modes of creative leadership in your world is the call now. An open minded and even inventive approach may be necessary. You may also have to surrender some of your pride. If you need assistance, ask for it. Seeing yourself in a new light is part of the plot. Letting go of limiting self concepts begins with acknowledging that you may have some. Change your mind!
