Sweet summer greetings to all of you, The days are getting shorter and some of us are beginning to think of pre-winter projects like firewood and fall harvests. School begins in 2 weeks. But, there is still time for one more weekend in the sun... on the water... in a canoe! Please join Dr. Michael Smith and I and Hellman Canoes for a great weekend of fun, relaxation, camping and wilderness skills September 5-6 on beautiful Slocan Lake. We'll be learning basic backcountry skills like setting up an efficient camp, cooking, hygiene, water purification, "bear-proofing", fire by friction, edible and medicinal plants and more! We'll also have plenty of time to explore the area, go fishing or swimming, relax and enjoy our company. Cost for the weekend is $135 per adult and includes canoe rental. Children 8-16 are $50 and under 8 are free. There is a discount if you have your own canoe. Please contact me regarding payment options, work/trade, etc. Lets have one more sweet summer campout, at Slocan Lake with the Valhalla Mountains as our majestic background! Mitakuye oyasin (we are all relatives). Chris Morasky Primal Pathways Wilderness School 250-357-2822
